Services provided in person in Palo Alto, CA & Telehealth in California

Therapy available in English, Russian, and Spanish

At times, our emotions can feel overwhelming, and we may find ourselves stuck, uncertain of how to move forward. In those moments, it can seem like we're navigating life's challenges alone, even as the world continues to move around us. Adapting to these feelings often requires more than just our own efforts—sometimes, seeking a bit of extra support can make all the difference.

I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for us to work collaboratively to help you develop tools and skills to navigate difficult emotions, uncover and shift problematic thinking patterns, and make changes that make your life lighter and more free. I use Evidence Based Treatments (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy) while also tailoring treatment to align with your unique identity and life experience.

I provide therapy in English, Russian, and Spanish.

Specialities

  • The journey through pregnancy and motherhood is a wild whirlwind of many emotions, hormones, fears, doubts, loneliness and hopes. I create a safe space to explore all of your multilayered experiences openly. Postpartum depression and anxiety is very common and underdiagnosed, and I am here to ensure you receive the support you need during such a vulnerable time. We will build skills to cope with all the varied experiences of becoming a mother. As a certified specialist in Perinatal Mental Health and drawing on the experience of being a mother myself, I can validate, normalize, and help process your experience. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

I also work with partners to help them learn how to support mothers and navigate their own emotions through this significant and life-changing transition.

  • Living in the Silicon Valley and having worked as the Mental Health Manager at Meta’s onsite clinic, I have had the opportunity to work with many hard-working and smart individuals who struggle with balancing work expectations and home life. Often, the expectations at work can lead to stress, anxiety and depression, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. I collaborate with clients to create strategies to cope with stress, process feelings about annual reviews and feedback, navigate high expectations and difficult conversations, identify beliefs and behaviors that keep you stuck in the same patterns, and overall find balance in a very high-paced and intense environment.

  • Navigating this transitional stage of life where you have more independence, you’re learning more about yourself, and starting to explore the world around you while not always having the space to fully understand what you want and how to get there can be both exciting and overwhelming. I provide a safe environment for you to explore what is meaningful to you, understand yourself better, and choose a path toward your goals with confidence.

  • Traumatic experiences can deeply shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. I am certified in the use of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a structured 12-week therapy treatment designed to help you address trauma-related beliefs that prevent you from living the life you want and doing the things you want to do.  We focus on transforming these beliefs in a mindful, believable, and powerful way to help you regain more control in your life and move forward.

How I work

I specialize in Evidence Based Treatments including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My goal is to provide the most effective therapy for my clients so that you feel better as quickly as possible.

My approach is both compassionate and gently direct. I work with my clients to build skills to manage emotions, identify and change unhelpful beliefs, and create behavioral changes that support achieving your goals.

It is my intention to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel understood and respected. I believe that every person brings a unique story and perspective, and my goal is to honor that individuality. By incorporating flexibility and humor into our sessions, I strive to make the therapeutic process not only effective but also enjoyable.

I recognize that cultural background plays a significant role in shaping our identities and experiences, and I actively apply a cultural lens to our work together. This approach helps me appreciate the complexities of your situation and fosters a deeper connection as we navigate your journey toward healing and growth.

Together, we will work collaboratively to unlock patterns, process emotions, and create the change that leads to an enhanced quality of life.
